Commencing 2 March 2026Rep Teams (ages U10-U18 yrs)
For players who live and breathe basketball, our Representative Teams program offers the chance to train and compete at a higher level. Rep athletes develop their skills, teamwork, and mental game while representing Douglas Heat in regional competitions.
When: Mondays from 3:30 pm
Where: Mossman Indoor Sports Centre
What To Bring: Wear basketball shoes, shorts without pockets, and bring a water bottle, sweat towel, and ball for warm‑up. Rep players will be issued game kits for carnivals (kits must be returned).
Join In Now:
Runs in line with school terms (starting 2 March 2026)
Try‑outs may be required if numbers exceed capacity in any age group
Players train weekly and participate in local and regional games
Rep registration includes a reversible training jersey
Rep players are encouraged to join Interclub or Socials at no extra cost
End‑of‑season team‑building trip to a Taipans Game
Under Basketball Queensland rules, the age group you play in is determined by the age at your birthday that year. (eg If you turn 14 on December 20th you are considered U16)
