Players receive sponsored team jerseys to keep and wear each week. U14+ Interclub players can also join Mixed Social as part of their registration at no extra cost.

When We Play
Wednesdays from 3:30 pm
Term 1 commences Wednesday 25 February 2026. Final game times for Terms 2 and 3 confirmed once registrations are complete.

Indoor, air-conditioned venue with full-size courts.
What to Bring
Basketball shoes

Ball for warm-ups
Focus on basketball fundamentals and pick-up games. A great time for new players to find their feet and get comfortable on the court.
Players are allocated to set teams for a round-robin competition. Points are tallied throughout the season towards semi-finals and grand finals.
Competition continues with the finals series — semi-finals and grand finals to crown the season champions. Don't miss it!
Basketball Queensland Age Groups
Under BQ rules, your age group is determined by the age you turn that calendar year. For example, if you turn 14 on December 20th, you compete in the U14 age group for that entire year.

Registration is open now through Basketball Connect. Sign on early — teams are confirmed once registrations close each term.
No — players are allocated to teams at the start of Terms 2 and 3. Just register and we'll sort the rest.
It's friendly competition — there are points, semi-finals and a grand final, but the focus is on fun and community.
Yes — U14+ Interclub players can join Mixed Social nights at no extra cost as part of their registration.
